The purpose of the Chamber of Commerce is:

• Promotes new business and industry
• Supports growth of existing business and industry
• Provides community information for new residents and businesses
• Publishes monthly newsletter
• Sponsors Annual Christmas Parade
• Hosts membership luncheons with guest speakers
• Actively promotes tourism in Morehouse Parish
• Provides tourism grants to Morehouse recipients that are providing a tourism service to the parish
• Supports community development programs
• Hosts legislative trips to Baton Rouge
• Publishes city and parish maps
• Offers workshops and seminars to businesses
• Hosts state and federal dignitaries
• Promotes quality of life programs
• Promotes the Retail Association
• Explores and reports issues concerning agriculture, workforce development, legislative and economic development

Chamber Committees
